As a registered counsellor, Demi is dedicated to walking alongside you on your journey toward balance, healing, and personal growth. Whether you are facing stress, navigating relationships, or seeking clarity in difficult times, her approach is compassionate, professional, and deeply person-centred.

My approach

Evidence-based care, grounded in compassion.

I work from a wellness perspective that focuses on the whole person - emotional, mental, physical, and social wellbeing. My role is not to diagnose, but to support and educate you with tools that can make everyday life feel more manageable and meaningful.

People come to counselling for many different reasons, and each session is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and goals. My role is to provide a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood, especially during times of stress or change. I offer support through life transitions, crisis management, self-confidence and developing practical tools to improve your understanding of emotions and how to regulate them.

In my work with adolescents (14+), I draw on a deep understanding of child development and the unique challenges young people face. Adolescence can be a time of intense change, where emotions, relationships, and identity are still forming. Many young people benefit from additional support in emotional regulation, self-understanding, and building healthy coping strategies. 

Due to our school systems often being under great pressure, some teens may not receive the emotional attention or space they need when they’re struggling to cope. Counselling offers a space where they can slow down, reflect, and feel supported in finding ways forward.
